The Fair Folk of Mullarkey News
First, I can’t wait to show off the brilliant cover for Black Annis Year, designed by the amazing Christian Bentulan (he designed the cover for A Knack for Metal and Bone too).
Here it is:

Isn’t it beautiful? All the little details will look especially wonderful on the paperback version.
So, here are the long awaited publishing details:
Title: Black Annis Year

The Knack News
I know everyone is chomping at the bit for The Knack Book 2. All I can say at this point is that it’s coming along nicely. I have a solid outline. That might not sound like much, but my outlines are very detailed and this one is about 20k words. That’s a novella! Having such a detailed outline will enable me to write it much faster. As soon as I get the Mullarkey edits finished (in a couple of weeks), I will be shifting my focus to The Knack. I’m still planning for a late fall release.
For now, A Knack for Metal and Bone is still holding steady in the top 5 spots for Steampunk Fantasy! If you haven't read this epic fantasy adventure yet, I invite you to check out some of the reviews to see what you've been missing.

ARC Team Call
This is the official call for the Fair Folk of Mullarkey Advance Review Team. If you’ve never been on an ARC team before, it basically means that you get the ebook a couple of weeks ahead of everyone else for free with the understanding that you provide an honest review on or around release day. Reviews can be posted on Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub and/or social media sites. Since it’s a new series, this is a good time to get in on ARC action. If you think you’d like to be an ARC reviewer, please fill out the application.
JOIN THE ARC TEAM
Please note that spots are limited. If you were part of one of my previous ARC teams (Valkyrie Bestiary or The Knack), please fill out the first part of the questionnaire anyway, so I can add you to the new list (but you don’t have to fill in all the review site links).
I am creating a new ARC Team for this series because it is a different genre and not everyone reads both epic and cozy fantasy.
Also, there will be a Facebook Group for the ARC team, but it isn’t mandatory. Communications will come via email.

Social Media Poll Results
In the last newsletter I talked about The Great Social Media Shuffle of 2025. If you missed that newsletter, you can see it HERE.
I asked readers to vote on their favorite way to connect with me. It was a very informal poll, but it seems that the majority prefer the Inbetween Group on Facebook or my Facebook page. These are already my go-to platforms, so that result isn’t surprising. And I have no plans to abandon them at this point. Many readers also sent notes to say they prefer to get their news by newsletter or blog. At least two readers suggested I might start a private forum on my website. I may consider this in the future, but for now, I think I will branch out via the third most popular platform choice: Discord.
I feel that Discord is the best option for fostering group discussions. I use Instagram and Bluesky too, but I find it hard to chat on those platforms and I use them mostly for getting the word out about new books.
Again, I want to make it clear that setting up Discord won’t take away from your favorite platform. It will be in addition to those other forms of communication.
I will start working on a Discord channel soon, and let you know how to join as soon as it becomes available.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to send me their thoughts on this poll!

Inner Demons
Georgiana Kent
Soul gatherers, quondams, Chinese demons, celestial beings... Sounds like your average night for KeyMaster Michael Nicholas and his Faerie Ashayla.
Despite battling his own demons, when his friend, Anatole, is in trouble, Michael doesn't hesitate to help. But he gets more than he bargained for when he's thrown in the middle of a case of Truth or Dare gone wrong. Horribly wrong. The kind of wrong when a Chinese huapi demon rampages through London on a killing spree. Thank goodness the nine-tailed Kumiho, Jade Fox, can help. But can she be trusted?
Shadowhunters meets The Guild Codex. Welcome to Inner Demons, a prequel to Georgiana Kent's Soul Dominion series. This adventure takes place before Soul Dominion 1 - 3, and introduces key characters and events that feature in Keys of Time, Keys of Fate and Keys of Death. Soul Dominion is perfect for fans of adventure, magic, Time travel, diverse strong characters, immortal cinnamon rolls, found family and slow-burn romantic tension.
