Did you know that Amazon favors books that have multiple highlights from readers? No one knows the secret Amazon algorithm recipe, but these highlights will eventually show up on a book's Amazon sale's page. Also, other readers can see when certain text has been highlighted many times.
As a writer, I highlight bits of text that impress me, whether they are great dialogue, good sexual tension or intriguing descriptions. It's how I learn.
I'm curious, as a reader, what do you highlight, if anything at all?

Book Fairs
Another great selection of curated book fairs this month! Bite-sized Beginnings shares a bunch of series starters, and they're all free, so you can find a new series to binge, risk free! And you don't have to be Canadian to enjoy books by Canadian authors (ahem), but if you are Canadian, you're sort of obligated to check these out (I think it's in the national anthem).
