Just Bursting

There is so much going on right now, I’m going just get right to it. Here’s a rundown of what’s in today’s newsletter, with more details below.

 

It’s finally happening! I officially put the first book in my new Knack series up for pre-order. This book took a lot out of me, and not just because it’s longer. The world building is some of the most intricate I’ve ever done, but I’m really excited with the way it turned out. I’m currently doing my last read through before sending it for proofing and I think I fell in love with it all over again. I can’t wait to show it to you too!

Here are a few stats:
 
Release date is December 5, 2024. I know I said a November release, but it’s just not going to happen. I would have to release it the last week of November and that would mean right at Thanksgiving. So December it is. This will give my ARC Team a chance to review it and I can organize something fun for the Inbetween Group. How long is it? The book currently sits at 118, 000 words! I like big books and I cannot lie! To put that number in perspective, Valkyrie Bestiary books are mostly 75k-85k words. So this is a long one, more in keeping with the epic fantasy genre where it will be found.
