In Black Annis Year, Elenna often hears movie-score music in her head. It accompanies her romantic encounters and her mad dashes through the dark woods. Music plays another important role in the story. It brings the community of Mullarkey Mills together. On Friday nights, the tunes call out from outdoor speakers beside Auntie Clare's store, calling for all the residents to join up for poutine, wine, dancing and music. 

Many of the songs mentioned in the story are Quebecois rock or folk music. Readers can follow along by listening to the Dépanneur Mullarkey playlist on Spotify or Amazon Music. 

The Knack Series is steampunk inspired. It is also an action packed adventure with a touch of romance. New Torwood City and the surrounding lands are full of shifters, mages, monsters and automatons.  

I created 2 playlists for this series. The Knack Steampunk list is inspired by gears and cogs and old-timey characters. The Knack for Metal and Bone playlist is a more eclectic collection of songs that create the atmosphere of action, adventure and romance. Both playlists are available on Spotify or Amazon Music.
