Look what I bought!

The final countdown is on! A Knack for Metal and Bone releases December 5th! I had a lot of questions about paperbacks, so here's the scoop. Paperbacks will be available on or before the eBook release date. I usually try to get them up a few days before so that with shipping everyone can enjoy the new book at about the same time. Note that Amazon makes pre-orders for paperbacks very, very difficult. It would require me to open a seller account on top of my publishing account and transfer all the pre-order sales over at release time. I don't have enough spoons in my drawer for that madness. But yes, paperbacks are coming soon too!

And don't forget that eBooks are always $1 cheaper at pre-order. The price will go up on launch day.

As for the audiobook…I haven't yet made any decisions. It's difficult to commit to audiobooks until I know how a new series will work out. I discussed this in more detail in a previous post, which you can read HERE
Pre-order A Knack for Metal and Bone

Look what I bought! I have 3 of these snazzy totes with the adorable little mech valet, named Roger. You'll meet him in the new book soon! I also got some character stickers of Rowan and Conall, so I'm all ready for some give-aways! I will be hosting a party of some sort on the Inbetween group on Facebook. We have a lot of fun in that group, so be sure to join before release day to get in on the fun. You can find it HERE.

Last Call for ARC Readers

I'm currently doing my final read-through of A Knack for Metal and Bone. That means that Advanced Review Copies will be available next week. There's still time to join the ARC Team. What does an ARC Reader do? You get free ebooks before everyone else gets to read the new stuff. The only catch is that you commit to giving your honest review on Amazon and other sites. There are a few pre-requisites to joining the ARC Team that are laid out on the registration form. If you think you'd like to be an ARC reader, sign up HERE.

Book Fairs & Events

This time of year, when the sun goes down so quickly, I tend to stock up on bingeable series to read. This week's collection of book fairs includes one where you can do just that. Or, if you don't have a lot of time between turkey and stuffing preparation, pick up a short story book to help fill out your end-of-the-year reading goals. There's something for everyone!

Borrowed Amulet
Jilleen Dolbeare

Megan's world has shattered. The love of her life is gone, leaving her hollow and consumed by grief. In the midst of this despair, one venomous remark from Merlin—yes, that Merlin—sends her over the edge, pushing her into a reckless new purpose: bounty hunting across the Splinters of reality with her red dragon, Goch.

One target fuels her obsession: Mordred and his dragon. It's the only thing keeping her from drowning in sorrow. But the hunter’s guild has left Mordred’s bounty up for grabs, and it’s already claimed lives. Worse, as a realm walker, Mordred’s impossible to track across the splinters, driving Megan mad with frustration and leaving her too much time to think.

Out of options, she grudgingly teams up with Merlin. Powerful, legendary, and hard to ignore, he should be the perfect ally—except she loathes him with the fire of a million burning suns. Then Mordred makes a move, reaching out to both of them.

The hunt is back on, but Merlin’s shadowy past is catching up, turning an already dangerous mission into a deadly gamble. Can Megan capture Mordred, survive Merlin’s demons, and make it out alive? Or will her pursuit lead to her ultimate downfall?
