The End of Edits

I officially migrated the Readers' Group to Substack yesterday, and since everyone got a welcome email with that switch, I'm going to keep this newsletter short. If you didn't get your welcome from me via Substack, please check your spam folders and white-list this email address so you don't miss out on future updates.

On Tuesday, I officially sent the final draft of Hallow Crossing to my fabulous proofreader, Elaine. It will sit with Elaine for a couple of weeks before I get it back for a last read through. And I have to say, I'm glad it's done.

I love all my books. They are like my children. If you asked me which one was my favorite, I couldn't (or wouldn't choose). But sometimes, like all children, books can be brats. Any every time I get to that point where I have read a manuscript dozens of times, it feels like a brat.

After two-weeks of intense editing, I stared at the word "summer" for five full minutes, convinced it was somehow wrong. And that's when it's time for me to send it along to Elaine. I know once I get it back, I will have fallen in love with it again. And what's not to love? Hallow Crossing is full of cozy fae elements like a sentient inn, mysterious mushrooms, a Sith cat and more. I can't wait to bring it to you. Release date is May 7th.

Valkyrie Bestiary is back on Audible

If you've been enjoying the Valkyrie Bestiary Series on Audible, you might have noticed that books 6-9 vanished. That was because I migrated distributors for these books and they got lost along the way. It took over 4 months for the migration to finally happen, but I'm glad to say that all 9 Valkyrie Bestiary books are back on Audible.
