Valkyrie Bestiary Cage Fight Arena
The battles have been raging since August and now we're down to the semifinals. See Round 1 cage fights HERE.
The semifinals begin January 5, 2024 and will continue until we have winners in each division.
Heavy Weight Division: This includes 8 semifinalists. Dragons, vampires, rock trolls and other scary and powerful beings will face off, but there can be only 1 Supreme Valkyrie Beast!
Light Weight Division: This division includes smaller semifinalist creatures, but that doesn't mean they don't pack a wallop in their magic or trickery. Here you'll find 4 semifinalists such as pookas and bodachs among other Inbetween denizens. The last one standing wins the title of Master of the Inbetween.
Adorable Weight Division: The Inbetween has many scary creatures, but it also has a few that just make you want to say “Awwww!” In this division 4 semifinalists battle it out to determine who will be the Ultimate Inbetween Cutie-Patootie too.

This will be a heavy duty battle. Now, we all know that Kyra would never hurt a dragon or any other creature unless she absolutely had to. So for the purposes of this contest, suppose that the dragon is rabid. Or that the fight is like a boxing match, to the knockout only. Imagine Kyra at the height of her powers—green dryad magic, Valkyrie sword-play, and human wiles. The dragon, of course, likes things crispy. She has a body like a battering ram and a tail that can cut the legs out from under any beast.

Pooka vs Unicorn
This is it! The first of finals fight! Your votes have spoken for these Inbetween favorites. They might not have the firepower of dragons or the terror-inducing bearing of a nuckelavee, but they’ve got something just as important: gumption. Everyone can sympathize with the pooka and his driving need for chocolate. Who hasn’t been a little hyped up on sugar before? And the unicorn? He might look like an underdog, but horns and hooves are not to be trifled with.
So imagine this fight, whether it be a fierce battle to the unalived or a slapstick poke in the eye. Who will come out the winner and claim the title of Master of the Inbetween? Defend your answer!

The might and healing power of a gargoyle face off against a...kitty cat? But that ain't no normal kitty. The grimalkin might be a fur ball, but there's a darker beast lurking beneath his skin: the night jaguar. When these two get into the ring, claws will strike, teeth will slash, and the battle will rage!

Bodach vs Unicorn Winner!
This fight will be all flash (on the bodach’s part) and bucking bronco (on the unicorn’s side). Errol, Kyra’s bodach roommate, may have trouble expressing himself, but his magic capabilities are pretty clear. He can manipulate any green growing thing, and he’ll probably blow out the arena’s lights when he puts his magic to work. Clover, our intrepid unicorn, won’t go down without a fight. He’s been sharpening his horn for just such an occasion.

Let’s assume that this fight allows both contestants to showcase their skills. The dragon will have to take a swim to fight the draika, but if he can pull that water dragon out of his element…it’s anyone’s battle! You decide the winner. Vote in the comments. Be original. And if she gets too close, the gyrus might swallow her up and spit her out the-gods-only-know where. We all want Kyra to win, but will she? Tell me how you think she’ll defeat the gyrus. This is the last of the Adorable Division semifinal fights, and the decisions just keep getting tougher. This fight is all about which critter is the cutest. Fangs and magic don’t matter. The only points scored are those on your heart. Which one do you want to squeeze the most? I’ve always wanted to run my fingers through the blue fluff on Ollie’s crown. And I would love to help him learn to fly. But who can resist squamus with a camera? I mean, look at that face!

This is the third match for both these tough competitors and the one that will decide who goes onto the finals. So far, the mountain devil has used his attributes to good effect—mainly his connection to Terra, god of all things. After all, a beast with the favor of the gods is bound to win, right? But what happens when he comes up against a grimalkin with the spirit of a dark god known as the night-sun jaguar lurking inside him? If the grimalkin lets out his inner berserker, that mountain devil might find that divine intervention isn’t enough to save him.
